Plein Air paint out - Fort Mose

Join the First Coast Pastel Society for our next scheduled event, this coming Saturday, Feb. 4. From 8:30 AM to 1 PM we plan to be at the Fort Mose Historic State Park in St. Augustine for a paint out. The address of the park is 15 Fort Mose Trail  in St. Augustine, which is right off route 1, just a little north of the route 16 intersection.

Please feel free to bring a bagged lunch. Other options include hats, bug spray, and of course your pastels and other painting supplies! Fort Mose is a lovely site with many options for painting, and plenty of free parking is available.

Fort Mose (pronounced Moh-say) is the site of the first legally sanctioned free African settlement is what is now the United States, and in 1994 was designated a National Historic landmark.
